Cedric Ngounou

Cedric is a standout defender whose fantastic season with the University of Toronto put him firmly on the radar at the next level. After receiving multiple Division I offers, he chose to continue his career at San José State. Standing at an imposing 6’5", he is incredibly unique—combining flair, technical quality, and composure well beyond what’s typical for a player of his size. This past season, he captained the Borough in League1 Ontario and was rewarded with Defender of the Year honours, underscoring both his leadership and consistency. With his physical presence, ball-playing ability, and tactical intelligence, Cedric is a natural fit in almost any back line and is widely viewed as a strong contender for the CPL or MLS Draft.
